AnnMarie and Phil’s story began with meeting at a bar in the East Village, completely by chance. On the contrary, the way their wedding unfolded felt anything but accidental. Their candlelit wedding reception in Manhattan was intentional and full of magic, like stepping into a movie set. From the very beginning, their day felt like a story being told in chapters. Rather than traditional getting ready photos, the story began with our bride stepping out of a limousine and onto the pavement, leading her to the church where she would meet her groom. In her Anne Barge gown, she brought a timelessness only a leading lady could, which was a perfect reflection of the setting.

After a beautiful and sentimental Catholic ceremony, our bride and groom, along with their guests, made their way to the iconic Burden Kahn Mansion. The mansion itself set the tone for the evening — Gilded Age architecture, layered walls and fixtures, and different rooms that each held their own event throughout the reception. As family and friends moved through the space, the evening unfolded naturally around them. Every part of the celebration had its place, with intention.

As glasses began to clink and lights dimmed, the energy shifted. Candlelight filled the rooms and dinner was served. The entire atmosphere deepened into something more immersive. Moody and sophisticated, yet fully alive. One of the most memorable parts of the day were the toasts. It mirrored the rest of celebration: genuine connection between the bride and groom. Music carried through the mansion as guests filled the dance floor.
